From my very first tiny steps in LKG to standing strong in 10th standard, my journey was shaped within the walls of my school. It didn't just teach me lessons from books, but values for life. Every discipline I carry today, every strength I hold, is a gift from those classrooms. Each corridor echoes with memories that time can never erase-moments of growth, challenges, laughter, and learning that built the person I am today. My school will always remain the foundation of who I've become.

What I am today is deeply rooted in my school. It was not just a place of education, but the foundation where my character was shaped, my discipline was built, and my values were refined. Every lesson went beyond textbooks, teaching me resilience, humility, and confidence.

Through sports, my school taught me the true spirit of sportsmanship-strength with grace, competition with respect, and leadership with integrity. On that ground, I did not just participate; I learned to stand tall, composed, and fearless-like a queen, carrying dignity in both victory and defeat.

I will always remain grateful to my school for moulding me into the person I am today-strong in spirit, grounded in values, and confident in purpose.

Greetings to all VLMS family,

I, Hemavathy, feel deeply honored to share a few words as an alumnus of Vidhya Lakshmi Matric Higher Secondary School, where I completed my 10th standard in the year 2015. As I reflect upon my school days, I realize that those formative years were not merely a phase of learning but a powerful foundation that shaped my discipline, confidence, and outlook on life.

The strong academic base and values imparted by my respected teachers played a pivotal role in guiding my journey ahead. With their constant encouragement and dedication, I went on to pursue and successfully completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. Today, I am proud to be working as a Software Engineer, a milestone that would not have been possible without the guidance I received from my school.

I remain forever grateful to my teachers for their unwavering support, patience, and belief in me. Their lessons continue to inspire me even today, both professionally and personally.

To all the present students, I would like to say-cherish your school days, stay committed to your goals, and always believe in your potential. The values you gain here will remain your strongest guide in every phase of life.

I take immense pride in being a part of the VLMS family and will always carry this institution in my heart. I wish the school continued excellence and every student a future filled with success and fulfillment.

Celebrating National Excellence in the Under-16 Category

To be a writer is to see the world through a prism of endless possibilities. When we look back at the last 25 years, many moments stand out tall. The year 2016, was the year V. Acharya Samudra proved that age is no barrier to depth, becoming a National Balashree Awardee in Creative Writing before he had even turned sixteen.

Young Voice, Timeless Stories

Competing in the Under-16 category, Samudra faced the nation's brightest young minds. The National Balashree selection process is famous for its "Creative Psychological Tests" and "On-the-Spot Writing" challenges. Samudra's victory was not just a win for him, but a validation of the creative environment we strive to provide.

The Silver Jubilee Legacy

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, Samudra represents the "Golden Standard" for our students. His journey reminds us that a teenager with a pen and a dream can capture the attention of the President of India and the entire nation.

He remains an inspiration for every student who is in our today, sketching out their first draft or dreaming of their first protagonist.

Those school days-filled with scribbled homework, nervous tests, strict DRT hours, and shared 35s memories as one unit-once felt overwhelming. But today, as we celebrate our Silver Jubilee, they sparkle as the stories we smile about the most.

My school journey's been a wild ride-

From scribbling the alphabet to acing exams,

Every page turned taught a lesson in curiosity,

My school days flew like a colourful kite,

Friends, lessons, dreams-a joyful flight.

Mistakes were steps, victories the cheer,

Today's roots shape tomorrow's year.

With chalk and hearts, this chapter is done,

And the next great adventure has just begun!

Giving back is our way of honouring what this school has taught us

B.E. ECE - 2nd Year | 2024 Batch

This school is not just a place where I studied, it is where I became who I am today. Yes, I am Jagadeeshwar. M from 2024 batch. I studied here from 4th standard to 12th standard, and these years shaped my character, my discipline, and my dreams. Excelling in both academics and sports here has transformed me into a better version of myself. During my 12th standard, I secured a strong JEE Mains score with a 75% aggregate in PCM. This qualified me to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) for the Navy Executive Officer post. Out of over two lakh applicants across India, I was one of the few candidates shortlisted after meeting the rigorous cutoff criteria. I received an official call-up letter from the Indian Navy for the SSB Interview in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

I prepared diligently and faced the interview with courage. I am proud to share that I secured the 8th rank out of 297 candidates from various states during the Stage-I screening process. Furthermore, I was the only candidate from Tamil Nadu selected to proceed through the rigorous four-day evaluation to the final stage. It was truly a proud moment for me.

This remains one of the greatest achievements of my life, made possible by the strong foundation laid by my teachers and my school. On this Silver Jubilee celebration, I express my heartfelt gratitude to my school, my teachers, my well-wishers, and everyone who guided me. I will always carry the values of this institution in my heart. Thank you!
